If payment presents a barrier\, subsidies are available — please reach out.\nAll ages welcome.\nLocated on our main accessible floor. Please indicate any accommodations you may need when registering\, and we will do our best to support you.\nThis event will be dry\, with mocktails available during evening events.\n\nAbout the Performers\nHark Raving Sirens and special guests \nHark Raving Sirens is a vocal trio featuring Rachel Behan\, Nicole Yates and Kate Pollock. This female vocal trio will put a smile on your face with their captivating harmonies. Accompanying themselves with guitar\, ukulele or percussion – the Sirens sound and performance is mesmerizing. They move seamlessly from Andrews Sisters classics of the 40s right through to the pop music of today while always putting a unique spin on songs. \nAnie Radish is a multi-talented artist & singer-songwriter from the Kootenays. Influenced by roots and folk legends Gillian Welch\, Bruce Cockburn and Watchhouse\, Anie is also not shy to dabble in 90s covers and original  tunes. I pursued a diploma with Olds college and graduated from there Costume Cutting and Construction program. I’ve honed my skills in precise pattern making\, meticulous garment construction\, and a keen eye for fabric selection. \nI was born and raised in Calgary\, AB and continued in the industry after graduation\, then relocated to Fernie BC 2.5 years ago and have never looked back! Driven by a profound passion for sewing and textile art\, I’ve found immense joy and fulfillment in sharing this craft with others. I am dedicated to imparting not just technical skills but also a deep appreciation for the creativity embedded in every stitch. Women’s Wheel offers a welcoming introduction to throwing clay on the pottery wheel in a supportive\, relaxed studio environment. \nInstructor: Caroline Payne \nWhen: Fridays\, 7–9 pm Price: $59 Ages: 19+ \nAbout the Event\nWomen’s Wheel is a casual\, experience-focused introduction to wheel throwing\, ideal for beginners or anyone looking to reconnect with clay in a friendly\, encouraging space. No prior experience is required. \nThe fee includes clay\, tools\, and firing for one finished piece. This workshop is about the experience rather than the final product. One piece will be finished by our pottery technician and may take up to six weeks to complete. Participants will be notified by email when their piece is ready for pickup.
